The Spectrum News and UTA News featured research from the Tang Lab focused on developing new strategies to combat drug-resistant bacteria. The Tang Lab focuses on identifying pathways that drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes use to survive antibiotic treatment and evade the host immune system.

This fundamental research aims to provide a better understanding of bacterial survival mechanisms and ultimately contribute to the development of new therapeutic strategies against drug-resistant bacterial infections.
